A number of Chelmsford members volunteered to help at the Autosolo at Autosport International at the NEC over the weekend, which I organised/ran on behalf of Go Motorsport and CMC held the permit for. People attending the show had the opportunity to have free passenger rides so we can show them what motor sport is all about and how easy it is to get involved. Thank you to all the people who volunteered and supported the event.

Final figures were:

  • 1004 passengers signed on over the four days (hurrah! We hit the 1000 mark!).
  • Over 1600 passenger rides estimated.
  • 84 volunteers (drivers and officials) signed on.
  • 29 motor clubs represented across the volunteers.
