Good afternoon
Entries and marshal registration are now open for the next 12 car rally in the Winter Series, the Mince Pies (I know its a little early) on 12th November.
We need a minumum of 6 entries to make it worthwhile running the event, and we also need a course closing car and 5 marshal teams, 3 of which will do 2 controls each.
Competitor entries are here

Also any marshals who have not yet signed on can they also do so here https://mtc1.uk/Entry/MincePie12Car21/MarshalSignOn.php.

Look forward to seeing you all next Friday.

Unfortunatey this morning one of our marshals has had to pull out, which leaves us a marshal short. If anyone can help out for an hour on Friday night it would be very muich appreciated. The control in question is just off the A12 near Marks Tey.
Please reply by posting here or email me at
Thanks
Paul
Hi all
At the moment we have one control not covered for Friday evening. If anyone in the Colchester/North Essex area can help out please get in touch. The control opens at 2025 and closes at 2022 or earlier., and is located close to the A12 near Marks Tey.
Paul
Paul, should be able to assist, can you give me a slightly more precise location, need to fit it with collecting Michelle from Marks Tey station, so need to check train times.
Cheers Colin
Thanks Colin. Email sent.

Paul, thankyou and your able band of marshalls and helpers, an enjoyable night unfortunatly terminated early (TC5) due to alternator failure. Appologies to anyone caught behind us whilst we struggled to as safe stop. But thanks for the night out, and we were doing so well...........

Apologies to the organisers. We left in good time, stopped for something to eat and fuel a few miles from the start. A slight smell of fuel had appeared on the way to the start, which we tracked down to a small leak on the fuel rail end fitting. Without a new O ring or gasket, we effected a temporay gasket out of a flat peice of rubber.
Was now 8.00, so too late to get to the start, but more sensible hat on, we drove home it home as couldnt be 100% sure it was a good fix.
Bit frustrating not to make the start over a small part, but thats rallying.
We will see you all on the Preston.
Good morning all
Final results are here. Thanks to all marshals and officials for your help, and thanks for the nice comments from the crews who seemed to enjoy it.
