Anyone who organised/competed or marshalled on the British Historic Rally Championship over the past 15 years will be saddened to hear that Dessie Nutt  passed away this week.  In his yellow Porsche 911, co-driven by Geraldine McBride, Dessie was a 'giant'  presence in the BHRC, both on the stages and in the bar afterwards. A real gentleman who was a fierce competitor but who would never hesitate to help out anyone - whether that be personal, motorsport related or medical when needed. The rallying fraternity is much poorer for losing him.  Condolences to his family.  RIP Dessie, we  feel enriched to have enjoyed your company.
