The third Thursday of the month is club night at the Bell in Danbury. In May it's another noggin and natter evening, but we are planning some 'themed' sessions for future club nights.
June 20th will be historic rallying - it's two days before the East Anglian Classic and we're expecting a few of the organising team and competitors to attend - notably for test & regularity signing on, documentation for marshals and any last minute advice and support for competitors.
On July 18th our new club chairman, Matt Endean, will be offering guidance on rally car preparation - more details to follow.
For the autumn we are planning 12 car navigational training, likely in October, and are also hoping for a very special guest to join us to talk about stage rally co-driving at the highest level. Watch this space.
Ideas for other themes are very welcome, as are all members young and old and anyone who isn't a member but is just interested in motorsport.
There are no football matches on Thursday 16th, so we expect the Bell at Danbury to be full mainly with motorsport enthusiasts - last month attentions were divided by the West Ham home game. Looking forward to seeing a few members there.
It was really good to see so many people at the Thursday Clubnight, lots of different rallies discussed and downloads from the previous weekends new venue for the Kent Targa rally.
