Notification.

With the aid of several of the member clubs we are running a new format in the south east.

Weald motor club beginners rally school events. 

11th September - 30th October - 20th November - 22nd January - 26th February

There will be a final full 12 car event run at the end of the Weald 2024-2025 12 Car Championship for beginners only where we hope all the contenders of the series will come out to support us in running this as it will be free to the registered beginners only. 

There will be five sessions and the aim is to take beginners and StreetCar interested applicants from newcomers to be able to do the Weald 12 car championship by next year. Starting with basic classroom stuff including how you should react as a crew, what is required from each member in terms of preparation officework etc. Basic plotting onto a given section of map and then in the second half going out onto the road and putting it into practice from that map everyone will go out with an expert or experienced semi to advise what and where they are going wrong if they do. the first round has a 12 mile route out and back to the premises we are using, and have controls code boards and any other road warning that you would normally have, i.e. CARE!! and QZ IN & QZ OUT.

 To develop this we have taken the beginners class out of the championship so now only have three classes N,S-Ex & Ex, also there are changes to the SR's including a registration and an entry system common to all rounds.

The second round is going to run by Si Kellow at Maidstone & Mid Kent MC and we are trying to get the other clubs interested in hosting the other three rounds.
