12 Car Rally, including training 

Eastern Counties Motor Club and AMSC will be running a beginners 12 Car on Friday 22nd September 2023, based on a village close to Colchester.

This event will be open to new crews and selected inexperienced crews to prepare them for a full 12 car.

Start: White Colne village hall, plot start at 18:30 first car away 19:30 ish.

Second plot stop: Colchester services.

Finish: the Swan at Chapel.

Entries will open on 1st September.

Introduction to Road Rallies Virtual Event

Info: 

ECMC are running an ‘introduction to road rallies’ virtual event from 8pm on Wednesday 6th September. During the session we will:

  • Introduce the concept of 12 car navigational rallies
  • Detail some typical navigation ‘clues’
  • Show some basic plotting techniques
  • Set then go over a basic route (table top style)
  • Talk through the car

It is designed to give people who have an interest in road rallying the opportunity to find out more, leading into our physical introductory session on 22nd September. As a virtual session it will be open to anyone with no limit on numbers, but attendees will be required to register their attendance so we can collect data.
