A great chance to practice your maps skills, shakedown the rally car before the mighty Preston rally or a chance to give back to the sport and marshal a control or two.
We are aware that there is an issue with insurance premiums for all road-based events increasing significantly - Motorsport UK is working closely with a number of insurers to try to reduce these for club-level events and we hope there will be resolution soon.
We do recommend that any crews planning to do a series of events arrange their own cover to reduce potential costs - companies offering special policies include Kingfisher, David Auden and Marsh - which can be cheaper than you might imagine.

We know of a new navigator who has done some training events, who is now looking for a driver.
So any driver out there looking for a run, test their rally car before the Preston or to help a newcomer to the sport, reply here or get in touch with the event organisers.
We currently have five and a half entries for the Autumn Leaves 12 Car on 24th October - with two weeks to go we need a few more to make the event viable. If you are thinking of entering please don't delay.
We also have a few navigators available to pair up with drivers if required.
As some of you will have spotted a few days ago the October 24th 12 car has been cancelled due to a lack of entries.
With only 5 confirmed and two possibles, there remained a considerable amount of work to be done to arrange the marshals , course cars & set the navigation .
There is an ongoing Insurance cost problem for 12 car competitors, particularly for younger drivers in standard cars that cannot get their annual policies extended to cover rallies.
Could all the competitors that wish to continue competing in 12 cars let Event Organisers & Committee Members know their needs and requirements. We have the organisers but MUST KNOW that there is an audience out there wishing to compete. Some other clubs in East Anglia are facing the same problem.
