Following the success of the last Targa Rally it has now been confirmed that we will be running the Javalin's Jumbo Targa Rally at Wethersfield Airfield on Sunday 14th July.
It’s the first time Chelmsford will have used this venue in a number of years, so it’s bound to be an interesting day’s rallying with tests offering crews a different challenge to that faced at the more regular venues.

We need a few more marshals on the day - please register with the event Chief Marshal Martin Dumbill through the website. I would also appreciate a couple of volunteers to help collect the equipment from Woodbridge on the Saturday and to then help setting out the tests at Wethersfield.

Your chance has come to put something back in to the club!
We need at least 6 more crews to make the event a success and this plea is to crews that live in Essex that usually only compete to come and give us some help on 14th July - just 15 minutes north of Braintree. You will get a free lunch.

The only excuse for those feeling guilty is to marshal on the November Targa or The Preston instead - early registration welcome!

Register yourself on the Targa Rallies page and Martin Dumbill will email you a pass and signing on instructions in the middle of next week. He will want the registration number of the car you are bringing and names of your passengers.

As you will know, the Wethersfield targa is a little over a week away, and we could still do with some more Marshals! Don't forget there isnt just free lunch but also a prize draw. It may not be the EuroMillions but you have better odds of winning!!
