Clerk of course has put together another great Preston rally for 2013 taking in the usual mix of old and new venues over different types of ground to maintain this events unique challenge.
61 entries have been received so far with 7 weeks to go .
We now need to start collecting the army of hardy marshals to make it happen .
If you have nothing planned for the evening of Sat 7th December then please come along and help us run this great rally .we can find something for you to do regardless of experience. Rally starts around 10.pm Saturday and finishes at daybreak Sunday.
Manning 3 controls (all night) is the greatest help to us (and gets you a breakfast if you want it) but we would still be very grateful for your assistance if you can only do two or one controls.

With just under two weeks until the'one and only' we are still in need of a few more marshal crews to make it all happen.
If you're free on weekend of SAT 7th/Sun 8th December then please consider helping us to manage one of the clubs best known events.
Experience is not essential for Preston marshaling. The event runs over a wide range of surfaces,often ones that a saloon car was never intended for and so a large number of people are required to keep the event and its competitors on track.
If I've not contacted you already but you'd like to help then i'd be very glad to hear fro you.
On another note our chief marshal is looking for someone to take him round at very start of rally. If anyone knows of a possible candidate with suitable car then please let us know.

I have now sent out marshal instructions for this weekends Preston rally. Please contact me if you have not received my email but check its not been filtered as spam first.
We would of course still like to hear from anyone who would like to marshal but has not been in contact yet . we have fewer marshals than we would like at present.
Just to comment in this particular thread I am sorted in my course opening role - thanks to Richard Atherton and the Rover Centre, and Colin Sutton is course closing. Thanks to those that have responded to my postings on this matter.
Just a few more marshals that can stay out late would be handy - no "early controls " are available - sorry.
