hi does anyone know what sort of gloves i need for sprinting i have heard it is a requirement, checked race suit and helmet(the fibre glass one) and its all ok ,there are gloves on ebay rated to 540deg. made of nomex but have no tag i suppose there is a b.s no. needed ? thanks

Dean,
I assume you have a competition licence *(you need one for sprints) and have therefore been issued with a blue book. You should read section S on sprinting -
S 9.2.1 defines driver safety requirements and refers to K13e) (page 167) - Gloves - Material tested to ISO6940 and labelled to that effect - and is quite specific on thickness, fitting requirements.
Yes thanks paul ,sent off for licence saturday so i am collecting info and kit in readyness for north weald 1st april will buy some to iso6940 thanks for your help
