MGJ Engineering Circuit Rally Championship launched.
The circuit rally championship organising clubs are pleased to announce details for the 2022/23 season.
This Championship is organised jointly by all the event organising clubs, with Dukeries Motor Club Ltd holding the Motorsport UK Championship Permit on behalf of the group.
We thank Mick Johnson and MGJ Engineering for sponsoring this new Championship.
The 2022/23 Circuit Rally Championship will feature a choice of nine popular one-day circuit-based stage rallies at seven different spectator-friendly venues, including new for 2023 Mallory Park, with a competitor’s best six scores to count. The Championship will run from early November 2022 to mid-April 2023.
It’s our collective hope that competitors returning to our rallies and new entrants will embrace the Championship, with modest Championship entry fees, to bring structure and multi-event competition to their season.
The Championship includes six competition classes which will cater for all types of stage rally car and should ensure close competition for all the class awards. There have been plenty of fiercely fought battles across the classes in previous years and we very much hope this will continue.
