London Motor Show 4-7 May - Discount for club members

The London Motor Show is back again following a highly successful event last year with over 25,000 visitors.

As the show is intended for all car enthusiasts, and before the show sells out again, we would like to offer your members of the Chelmsford Motor Club a special 10% discount on tickets.

A special food and beverage area for club members will also be on hand as a good meeting point with the added benefit of reduced rates on catering.

Under bonnet temperature

Hi all 

I'm after some informed knowledge of how to lower the temptemperature under my hood.my car is a clio 197 turbo .

I have read all about bonnet vents only working when stationary due to air pressure over bonnet being greater than that trying to raise up and out of vents . Has anyone tried a turbo jacket? Should I wrap the manifold down pipe ? I have heard it may crack 

The car has working air extractors on back edge of front wings but not efficient enough.

Vehicle Display at Great Saling Village Fete - 25th June

Chelmsford Motor Club members are invited to show their cars in a Vehicle Display and traditional village Fete on Sunday 25th June at Great Saling, Near Braintree.

Entry for Vehicles and passengers is free, the event opens at 1300 hrs but vehicles can arrive beforehand and leave when they wish. We aim to offer a relaxed event with a good range of entertainment and refreshments to suit everyone.

Fia seats

Can anyone suggest a good hans device fia approved bucket seat.
I'm looking for a new one or two happy to pay £300_350 each to fit my clio 197. Thanks any suggestions apriecated
