Go Motorsport at Santa Pod

On Wednesday 20^th August Santa Pod hold their annual young drivers in a motorsport day. Go Motorsport will be there with a static display of cars and activities suitable for youngsters starting out in club motorsport. We will also be running a demonstration of AutoSoloing incorporating passenger experiences. To do all this we will need a few cars and drivers to come and make some noise. Local Motorsport History

Leigh Trevail, the Hon. Historian of Eastern Counties Motor Club writes an Historic Review each month. He has now published the eighth edition.
Much of the content relates to motor racing from the 1950's, particularly Snetterton ( where ECMC ran the first ever race meeting) and the history of cars from that period. The quality of the information and writing is as good as any authoritative magazine but Leigh has decided to publish it through the website so that anyone can see it.

I hope you are well and sorry to bother you again with this matter.

As you may or may not be aware we are launching a Mini Festival at our circuit in Cheshire Oulton Park.

I was wondering if you knew of any contacts in this area who own Minis, new or old that would be willing to Demo them, or even display them statically. We have a modest Rally stage at Outlon Park.

nurburgring

Going on my annual trip to the mecca of Motorsport on Friday 1st Aug until Monday the 4th. Due to cancellations we have a spare twin room in a chalet accommodation. cost 30 euro pp/pn which includes access to spa etc. We are going on the bikes but you can make your own way there and can stay however long you want Fri/ Sat/ Sun night. Is suitable for mixed couple as there is separate bathrooms etc

I went to Lydden yesterday for the World Rallycross first day. Great fun, highlight was going to be the Group B race at the end. It started well but ended in disaster.

I turned my camera off and missed the actual fire, but found somebody who didn't.
